Adult Children of Inmates

Survey of Adult Children of Incarcerated Parents
We are Sociology students doing research on children of incarcerated parents. This includes those who have had or currently have a parent who has been incarcerated for one year or more. For the purpose of the study we are asking only adult children to partake in this study. We have been researching the subject for one year and are currently in the last phase of our research. We are asking those interested to fill out a questionnaire regarding their parent's incarceration. We understand the sensitivity of the subject, but are also aware of the importance of this research. It could prove to be beneficial in many ways, and will be vital for future families and children in similar situations. It is important for others to know how the effects of a parent's incarceration can be a profound experience on a child's life. The questionnaire is confidential and will be deleted after the data has been entered for analysis. We have designed a website where the questionnaire can be accessed, filled out, and then returned to us anonymously. It is http://euphrates.wpunj.edu/quest. Once again, only those who are adult children of someone who has been or still is incarcerated should respond. Thank you in advance for your time and your participation. It is extremely appreciated and will be greatly recognized.
